Rules of noun
A noun is a word which is used as a name of a thing , a place or a person.
There are five kinds of noun :-
1. Proper noun
2. Common noun
3. Collective noun
4. Material noun
5. Abstract noun
Rules of noun are following:-

These nouns are same in both condition singular or plural.

Note:-
1 if sentence says more than one thing then we have to use items of, articles of, pieces of ,kinds of .
2. If we talking about one then we use an item, an article , a piece of, a kind of.
Example:-

Rule 3
These nouns are same in both condition singular or plural.

- Deer
- Swine
- Innings
- Spices
- Series
- Pice

Rule 4
Rule: Nouns expressing number like hundred, dozen, score etc are used in singular with numerical adjectives.
These nouns are:
Hundred, Pair, Score, Stone, Dozen, Thousand, Million, Billion, Gross, Etc.
Ex:
Hundred, Pair, Score, Stone, Dozen, Thousand, Million, Billion, Gross, Etc.
Ex:
- Sumit bought four dozen apples.
- Samir got five hundred rupees.
- Deepika has two pair of sandles.
Rule: Plural noun is used after One of, Neither of, Either of, and Each of.

- Either of them will come.
- Neither of the students hasRu failed.
Rule: Some nouns look plural but have singular meaning. Singular verb is used with them.
Summons, News, Politics, Physics, Economics, Mechanics, Mathematics, Measles, Ethics, Rickets, Billiards, Draughts, Innings, etc.
